DON'T COME - The DonÆt Come. The point has to be established before you can play the DonÆt Come. LetÆs say the point is 9. We then put our $2 in the DonÆt Come box. On the next roll, if a 7 or 11 rolls we lose this money. If a 2 or 3 is rolled, we win this money and if a 12 is rolled, itÆs a push or standoff just like the DonÆt Pass. So letÆs say the shooter rolls a 4. The dealer takes the money and places it in the DonÆt Come Box which is directly on top of the 4 in this area. We have to lay odds just like the DonÆt Pass. We put our money, $4 in the DonÆt Come area and say "laying odds on the 4". The dealer will put our odds up on the 4. We are laying 2 to 1 or $4 to win $2. We place another DonÆt COME bet and the shooter rolls a 5. The dealer will place our $2 in the DonÆt Come Box above the 5 and we want to lay odds. So this time we have to put up $3 to win $2; 3:2. We put our money in the DonÆt Come area and tell the dealer "laying odds on the 5". We make one more DonÆt COME bet and the shooter rolls a 6. The dealer takes our DonÆt COME bet and places it in the DonÆt Come box directly above the 6 and again we want to lay odds on the 6. We put $6 in the DonÆt Come area and tell the dealer "laying odds on the 6". The dealer puts $5 next to our flat bet and $1 on top.
Remember on your COME bets, the odds were off on the come out roll. On the DonÆt Come, your odds are always on. They always work. When betting the DonÆt Come, youÆre betting that the shooter will roll a 7 before any of these numbers. So letÆs say the shooter rolls a 7. A loser for the PASS LINE but a winner for the DonÆt.
The dealer will pay all your DonÆt COME bets. The 4 will pay $2 on your flat bet and $2 for your $4 odds. The 5 will pay $2 on your flat bet and $2 on your $3 odds and the 6 will pay $2 on your flat bet and $5 for your $6 odds. The dealer will stack up all of your winnings and slide them in the DonÆt Come area. If he has time he will slide them to you. Unlike the COME bet, the DonÆt Come pays on all your bets because youÆre betting donÆt come, donÆt make any number. You want the shooter to roll a 7 before any other number. If any number is rolled before a 7, you would lose that bet. Always remember, when betting the PASS LINE and the COME line, youÆre betting with the shooter. Now when betting DonÆt Pass and DonÆt Come, youÆre betting against the shooter.
